Poster for the movie "World War Z"

World War Z

The book adaptation was essentially another Hollywood movie with zombies – albeit hyperactive ones created as a result of an unknown virus. The film lacked engagement, though had the usual set-up of retired special ops family guy recalled to duty to uncover the origin of the plague, but sadly ended with only a partial solution to the problem. It was not the human story I had expected.
