Poster for the movie "Haywire"

The trailer and the pitch for the movie made this sound like it was an “on the rails” movie. However, after a realistic initial fight sequence in a diner that set the tone for the movie, the bulk of it was actually told as flashbacks as our lead recounted the tale of how she got to the diner to the driver she picked up. The story unfolded as a typical “spy-set-up-out-to-avenge-their-employer”. The supporting cast wasn’t great, but it was a watchable film on a lazy day.
