Poster for the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman"

Snow White and the Huntsman

Snow White gets the Game of Thrones makeover with a touch of Grimm. The concept is good, but the movie feels slow in places yet also assumes you know the story better than you might. The result is a movie that feels it missed its mark, despite good intentions. There isn’t the connection at the start with Snow White that would help us stay the course, and the dwarfs were, well, wrong in many ways.
