Poster for the movie "Super"

Although the mixed bag of trippy schlock gore and psychotic violence in places leaves you somewhat disconnected from the leads, the insight they show when not dealing out the retribution “between the panels” is very human and very introspective on the human condition. The ending – if you do not weigh too heavily on the OTT “wrenchtribution” – is strangely poignant and touching. Better than I expected, though I’m not one for ultraviolence.
