Written in 1944, this short, short book contains the essence of much of the popular personal development work of today proving that nothing really changes but we all need our own lens to see it through. The book’s title is succinct enough to explain the contents, but I would also recommend reading books like The Secret or some of the others I have posted reviews about that relate to manifestation, abundance, et al. At only 40 minutes, this is an easy one to add to your list and read when you have a few minutes.
I first listened to this audiobook two years ago, almost to the day. Having just finished Gabby’s Judgement Detox: Release the Beliefs That Hold You Back from Living a Better Life, I thought it time to re-read this earlier work and see if my view had changed. Having read numerous books on personal development, spirituality, magic, ekstasis, et al, in the interim I found this book more accessible and following similar lines with sound meditative practices built in to help you open up to the soul of the universe (i.e. your own soul, as you’ll discover from the many other metaphysical and development books).
