A unique recovery program created by one of the world’s leading online authorities on Narcissistic Abuse. Narcissistic abuse was originally defined as a specific form of emotional abuse of children by narcissistic parents, but more recently the term has been applied more broadly to refer to any abuse by a narcissist (someone that who admires their own attributes), in particular in adult-to-adult relationships the abuse may be mental, physical, financial, spiritual or sexual. If you have been through an abusive relationship with someone who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, you will know that no one understands what you are going through unless they have personally experienced it. Melanie Tonia Evans was abused by her former husband for over five years, it almost took her to the point of no return, at her lowest point she had an epiphany that signified the birth of the Quanta Freedom Healing Technique. In this book you will learn how to: recognise if you are in an abusive relationship, how to detach remove yourself from the narcissist’s ability to affect or abuse you any more, identify your subconscious program, release it and replace it, focus on healing yourself, become empowered, thrive and not just survive. This revolutionary program is designed to heal you from the inside out, and its effectiveness has been proven by thousands of people worldwide.

Having read two other books on narcissism (Narcissist: A Complete Guide to Dealing with a Range of Narcissistic Personalities and The Covert Passive-Aggressive Narcissist: Recognizing the Traits and Finding Healing After Hidden Emotional and Psychological Abuse) I discovered Melania Tonia Evans on YouTube as I was continuing my research into this topic. Melania goes further in this book discussing the various forms of narcissism but takes a different view about how to heal.

While Melania recognises that Narcissistic Personality Disorder is very real and very harmful, she puts forward a powerful healing methodology that is based on healing your own wounds and not laying all the blame at the feet of the narcissist, even if only 3% of the blame is your own. Her spiritual approach, borne out of her personal experience with toxic, narcissistic relationships, applies what you could call a Yin/Yang approach. Yin & Yang need to co-exist to create balance, so her Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Program (NARP) is based on the principle that the ‘victim’ in the pairing (which could be work or family) is subconsciously wounded emotionally and these scars attract the narcissist to create a whole. Unfortunately, the ‘good’ qualities of the narcissist – the ones the ‘victim’ is attracted to – are part-and-parcel with their toxicity. Melania doesn’t use the term victim as this is not who you are. You are a survivor first and foremost and she intends you become a Thriver after the program.

Melania doesn’t use polarising terminology but clearly explains we carry subconscious programs which may be faulty and these need healing so that we can become whole in ourselves and not seek out others to complete us. When we become whole, we stop attracting narcissists and so break the cycle. You will never fix a narcissist, so don’t even try, but if you heal yourself you won’t have to deal with the cycle any more.

The book does everything it sets out to do in the outline above and I recommend it to anybody looking to better understand narcissism and also to improve their own lives.
